What's blooming in mid-August

Here we are at a new edition of Macro Flowers Saturday and a new weekend.

What new flowers are blooming at this time, at mid August in your gardens?
In our parts autumn flowers are started to bloom and though I'm glad to see them, their appearance signals the end of summer.

Some of the Chrysanthemums species, one of my favorite flowers are already blooming in gardens:

Autumn Joy is almost open on sunny places, others are in buds.

A few lovely cosmos flowers are still holding.

Zinnias are dressed in their faded autumn colors but still beautiful.

There are many others but they don't fit all in one post.

Have a great weekend!

As long as you have a thumb and a link in the list, these three words comments consisting of "My entry", really insult the intelligence of all the rest of us.

I hope the author(s) don't mind that they are deleted.

Dear Maia,
I love your fall selection of flores! Your photos have a great charm, and the clarity is lovely. I wish I could have brought the Autumn Joy Sedum with us from our last home. It's seed heads stand thru the winter and make such a good display for snow. Thank you for allowing us all to link-up!

I bought a bunch of white chrysanthemums yesterday (yes, and I have just posted a SOOC photo of one - couldn't resist).
