Welcome to Macro Flower Saturday!

Happy Halloween!

Don't trick! Here is your treat:

Take some of these hazelnut sticks with chocolate and caramel too!

Wonderful weekend to you all and thanks for sharing your beautiful macro photos.

Macro Flowers Saturday is a photo meme for macro photos and close-ups of flowers; garden flowers, wildflowers, flowers with insects and butterflies (no insects without flowers), flowers with raindrops, colorful plants and foliage, seeds and berries, interesting fruits, mushrooms, all in close-up.
Artistic compositions using the above mentioned elements and different, creative combination of them are welcome.

These colorful autumn leaves are for the Holiday mood. This is a climber vine but I don't know its name. The leaves are red in autumn but the reflection in the picture is fake.Red autumn leaves

I know, many of you prefer the newer thumbnail list at memes. Now we have it, at Macro Flowers Saturday's new place.
From now on we will use the thumbnail list, I hope you don't mind.
Also, the list will be open all week, each Friday at 5 PM GMT starts the new list.

I still have to work on the new blog, so please bear wit me for a little while. There are a few changes to do beginning from next week's entries:
  1. please, change the backlink, in textlink or badges;

-You have to change "http://flowers-macrophotography.blogspot.com/" to the link in red, shown bellow:

    <a href="http://macroflower-saturday.blogspot.com/">Macro Flower- Saturday</a>

  2. you may want to follow the new blog
  3. you may want to bookmark the new address, so you can find the meme easier.
I hope it's not too difficult, sorry for the inconvenience.
You don't need to do the changes right now, the old backlink is OK for this week's entries.
From next week on, please use the new one.
I'll transfer all Macro Flowers Saturday posts here, as soon as Blogger's import tool will work.

Macro Flower Saturday #31

Weekend again! Welcome to the weekend flowers garden!

From now on, till the first of November we will see the most beautiful fall flowers, especially chrysanthemums, of the year.
On the 1st of November is All Saints' Day. Like in most European countries, we celebrate the "Day of the Dead" on this day.

Most families visit cemeteries to remember deceased loved ones and decorate gravestones with chrysanthemums. Gardeners are holding their best flowers for this day when money doesn't count.
