came via Jama's walking iris. I used to grow them in Singapore..
That's beautiful, Maia, especially with the snow effects.
Is that Christmas cactus flower? Beautiful color!
love the flower, snow effect, bells, and to be able to share some decorations coming up.
Beautiful cactus flower.
Christmas cactus have the most beautiful little blooms. Your macro is gorgeous Maia, I love the addition of the snowflakes.
Maybe next week I will follow your suggestion and use a Christmas theme.
Have a great weekend.
What a wonderful effect you added with those snowflakes on the flower! Love it!
What I would like to see is photos of flowers with fresh fallen snow. There was a photo by Randi last year that totally blew me away - a winter rose. So beautiful! I have never seen flowers and snow at the same time where I live - but I hope some of you might be able to find such combination and share it with us!
Yes, flowers in the snow are beautiful compositions. You have to capture them right after the first snow, before they totally freeze. Though, some of them are very frost resistant.
I have such a photo here, but its from my archive.
I like what you did with the sprinkling snow effect.
What a gorgeous flower and macro shot, Maia.
Beautiful shot!
strange! I was sure I commented on your nice christmas cactus.
Anyway, yes my flower is an amaryllis. I´d very much like a blue one for next year. If they can fix it. :)
I"ve been trying to get a good photo of a Christmas Cactus but so far no luck. Some flowers are just difficult! You did such a good job; thanks for posting. Love the snow effect!
