Welcome to Macro Flowers Saturday #57!
How time flies! Last month we were sharing spring flower photos and now it's summer already!
June roses are the most beautiful, so fresh looking, no dead heads on the rose bushes yet.
This pale pink rose looks like made of porcelain.

The buds are of a darker pink color but when they unfold, there is just a pale tint of pink.

The rose bud
It is only a tiny rosebud-
A flower of God's design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I -
The flower God opens so gently
In my hands would fade and die.
If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of God's design,
How can I have wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?
So I'll trust in Him for His leading
Each moment of every day,
And I'll look to Him for His guidance
Each step of the pilgrim way.
For the pathway that lies before me
My heavenly Father knows -
I'll trust Him to unfold the moments
Just as he unfolds the rose.
AMEN.

The white roses are wonderful
your roses are stunning. Love the shape and colors as well as the photograhpy.
May I ask where you found the gadget for dropdown categories? I have been searching for one like that for quite some time now. :)
sorry about that link, it was a TV program coming up that made me a bit stressed. :) It is fixed.
I´d love that code. Send it to monica@naturefootstep.com
What do you mean by "keep my photos"? Oh, you mean in the list? :) I put it back.
Your roses as well as the poem are lovely. It's still a bit early for my roses.
Maia, your pale pink roses look like white ones. Isn't it quite a delight to find most of our blooms giving us rare finds?
Have a great weekend!
Maia, this is the perfect rose. Simple yet exquisite and I love the poem.
I love roses and these are stunning!
Lindas rosas de junho em belas fotos!
I find white so hard to photograph. You did a beautiful job!
Love that hint of pink.
Have a wonderful Saturday!
I agree with Carletta, white is difficult to photograph, but your images are excellent.Sigh

I agree about the June roses. And no blackspot, either, the bane of Seattle rose-growing. I have buds but no flowers yet.
Yours is unusually beautiful this week.
What beautiful roses Maia, I love that soft touch of pink. My roses are barely beginning to bud.

Beautiful macro with beautiful framing, excellent color. Delicious flowers.
That is gorgeous!! And I'm glad you mentioned a little about the buds being a different color - I was wondering about that! Plus, the poem is absolutely wonderful....I'm so glad you shared it! :)
Love the curves of the petals and the detail.
